Church Services
Hay Meadow Burial Ground is positioned in the centre of two local churches, each being just 1.5 miles away. You may wish to have a service in one of these local churches or further afield, or have the grave blessed and hold a religious service.
St David’s Church, Glascwm
St David's Church is said to have been founded by Saint David himself, as a centre of Celtic Christianity. The 13th century nave has two original doorways, and the chancel dates from the 15th century. Part of the original wagon ceiling remains.
St David’s Church, Cregrina
A very simple rural church on a site overlooking the River Edw. The Church boasts a 13th century nave, 15th century roof, a late medieval wooden screen, and a Norman tub font.

Chapel Services
You may wish to hold a Chapel Service before laying your loved one to rest. There are two Chapels within a short distance from Hay Meadow Burial Ground. Cregrina Free Mission Chapel is just 1.5 miles away, and Franksbridge Baptist Chapel is 4 miles away.
Cregrina Free Mission Chapel
Originally it was a house which was built before 1905. In 1966 the house was converted into a chapel, with the removal of the upstairs floor to create a sense of space for the congregation.
Franksbridge Baptist Chapel
Being first built in 1835, it was then rebuilt in 1909 to the designs of mixed Lombardic, Italianate, Arts and Craft style with a gable entry plan.
